In an earlier post I mentioned the Best of Bootie 2005 and Best of Bootie 2006 free comp discs put together and mixed by DJ's Adrian & The Mysterious D. You need to download both of those albums (and on the 2006 page you should also download the extra tracks they have) as I don't need to spotlight those songs in future posts when they're easily found on those pages. I mean, many of those tunes are must-haves in this genre, IMO. Hell, last night I went back to Mako's (I know, I know) and they played a song you can find on the 2006 page, which is Easy Maneater from Victor Menegaux. That was a pleasant surprise.
A few days ago, the Best of Bootie 2007 was released online, which I downloaded as soon as I was able to. I haven't decided yet on how it ranks compared to 2006 and 2005, but again this is an album that you need to download (along with the extra tracks). Tracks 2, 3, 8, 18, and 19 are especially good, IMO.
