Iron Maiden vs. India?

On this night, I will spotlight a mashup that combines two songs and two genres that you'd never think could be combined… heavy metal and Bollywood! That's the beauty of mashups, you know.

This tune is from Wax Audio, a mashup artist from Australia who has put together some great tunes, from the more obvious combining of songs (his combining of Another Brick in the Wall and Staying Alive is better than you may think) to the less obvious (Metallica and Panjabi MC?)

Here is a song in the less obvious category. The tune, which can be found here, is known as Maiden Goes to Bollywood: Sexy Maiden on the Floor, as it combines Iron Maiden's Flight of Icarus and Sunidhi Chauhan's Crazy Kiya Re. Talk about "thinking out of the box" in combining those two particular tracks together. But, it works... really well. No matter what you think of Wax Audio's political views*, he's a very talented mashup artist who you hope continues to pursue this field.

He's not a fan of the George W. Bush regime, let me put it that way. I'm not one to get political here, but if nothing else, you may get a cheap laugh out of George W. allegedly looking like a chimp, or Dick Cheney looking like The Penguin from the 60's version of Batman.
