Here is the spotlighting of a song that isn't a combination of a rock/pop song from the past with a current rap tune (although expect many of those in the future of this blog!) but rather something else entirely. Today's tune is from British mashup artists Celebrity Murder Party.
This tune is known as We Want Robot Titties-quite the unique title-and combines Titties from The Trucks, We Want The Funk from George Clinton's Parliament, Kraftwerk's Robots, and Vampire Sound Inc.'s The Lions and the Cucumber, an ultra-obscure band that isn't even on Wiki and I only know that they had that song in Jackie Brown, a movie that I don't think is worth seeing... but let's not get off-track here. The resultant song is an awesome electro tune that you'll want to play over and over... or at least that's what I did as soon as I first heard it. Note that the main lyric you get from the Trucks song is the female lead singer saying that just because a guy "twisted (my) titties" and stuck his tongue down her throat that it doesn't mean they can have sexual intercourse... no, really. What a message!
