What Is It Good For?

This is another case of a song on here being connected with a song I posted onYet Another Idiot With A Music Blog. You can read that post here, as the song I'm spotlighting here is a mashup that includes said track.

Pheugoo is a mashup DJ from the Netherlands who has put together some quality work. For example (and the link is not on his page although he has it hidden on his page) he created a song that combined two tunes about as far away from each other in terms of style as you can get in popular music. He had the rapping of Usher, Luda, and Lil Jon in Yeah over the music of… Jerry Reed's Eastbound and Down, from Smokey & The Bandit! Seriously. It actually works too. If you search for it on Project Playlist you'll find it.

The tune I'm spotlighting here can also be found on Project Playlist, as again it's a hidden link. It's Robot Wars (Release The Beast), acknowledging that it's a combination of Release The Best and the Edwin Starr tune War, and that the former was sampled for Robot Rock. It's a great combo.
