On my other blog I just posted a great new track from Soulwax; those guys also dabble in mashups from time to time. Arguably the best one they did is one that has gotten pub on many different pages.
Yes, they actually combined Smells Like Teen Spirit by the great Nirvana (really, the only grunge band that I can more than tolerate a little bit... ok wait, I do like some Alice in Chains tunes also) with Destiny's Child's Bootylicious. Now, I detest most of the songs from that girl group (including Bootylicious, even though bootylicious women CAN be great) but combining it with arguably one of the greatest rock songs ever was a stroke of genius. They only put the Beyonce vocals over the Nirvana music, but it works great.
